Today I saw a video that makes me emotional even though I'm not a fan of the team or have ever really cared about them that much. But for some reason, watching the radio guys and the coach and the fans and the passion and love their have for their NBA team, the Kings, really affects me and I feel a very strong emotional connection. It's a real sorrow and gratitude that we all feel in our lives, especially when we've given our all to something and now we feel it's coming to an end. It's a crazy feeling but fascinating and brings a strong desire to do good and to continue to have relationships that are meaningful, even if it's just towards a sport team. It's a real emotion, a real investment, a real connection, and can teach us some things if we listen. The Kings might have played their last game in Sacramento before moving to Anaheim. I will not use this blog much, but I will make some comments that matter to me or that I'd like to bring up about Sports. sports teach wonderful life lessons and bring excitement, fun, and disappointment to life. I am grateful for them and am a loyal fan to my teams: BYU Cougars (football and men's basketball), Lone Peak High School, Utah Jazz (basketball), Real Salt Lake (soccer), Salt Lake Bees (baseball), and USA soccer as well. Those are my favorite teams to cheer fo.
