- I have had the blessing of getting to know and meet many people in my lifetime. Many of whom are very special to me and I treasure the relationship I have with them. It's a gift of mine--no matter how many new people I meet, I feel a unique love, respect and connection to each one and desire to remember them as unique individuals with special abilities and capacities to do good and be a productive, contributing person to this journey called life.
- I feel a a great sense of inadequacy when viewing my own abilities and weaknesses in comparison to where I'd like to be and want to be. I have been given many gifts and opportunities and friendships and I want to honor them and do good. I can not let fear prevent me from achieving the things I most strongly desire or the person I want to become.
- I feel like I am still too inwardly-focused--in other word, I don't feel I think enough of other people but I am always thinking of my own comfort or convenience. It's a tough thing to overcome. I appreciate any comments on how others have overcome thoughts or feelings of selfishness and have become better and serving others over self.
- I am humbled by the goodness and love of others. This last week we (Julieta and I) when we got home late one Wednesday evening to find $120-$180 worth of groceries on our front porch with much of the food catered to our tastes. We still don't know who did it and are extremely grateful for the generous act of kindness and goodness bestowed to us.
- Such acts inspire me to do the same and provides me with a strong desire to be able to do the same to others, especially for those who could really use it. I have a stronger desire to do good and to bless others and to make their lives a little easier. It takes sacrifice & obedience to focus on things one wants to do for other people.
- This post is mostly for me to get some thoughts on blog paper and share. Please share with me what you've learned in life. What is most important to you
I will try and note a few things that are on my mind:
